I graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2009 with my Bachelor’s in Biological Psychology and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2012. I grew up with an extensive sports background including Varsity Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Tennis for Lee’s Summit North High School, and then pursued football in college at Northwest Missouri State being part of 4 National Championship appearances. After graduating from Rockhurst I continued to play indoor football around the Midwest before joining the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League and was awarded a tryout with the New York Jets of the NFL in 2015. Throughout my football career, I had the opportunity to practice PT around the United States in various settings with my wife, Lindsey, who is an Occupational Therapist. I have concentrated therapy experience in sports injuries/surgeries, geriatrics recovering from joint replacement, spine rehab, neurological disorders, pediatrics, and general rehab. With my McKenzie training and Bloodflow Restriction Therapy certification, I bring a different approach than traditional PT. I live in Blue Springs with my wife, 2 daughters, a dog, and cat. I enjoy working out, yard work, hunting, and sporting events.

Cheri Crowley, grew up in Raytown, MO. She spent majority of her life dancing. She was a RHS Jaywalker, danced at the competitive level and as a professional: dancing for Bobby Vinton, Walt Disney World and Carnival Cruise Lines. In the early 2000’s Cheri met her husband, Mack, and decided to return “home” to Blue Springs. In 2004, they opened a dance studio taught dance and tumbling to kids and adults, recreational and competitive…for 16 years. During that time, Cheri and Mack had 2 beautiful daughters, now ages 13 and 6. At a local community festival, Cheri severely fractured her ankle while doing a back flip. Through her rehab process, she felt a huge tug on her heart that it was time for a career change, Cheri felt she was being called to become a become Physical Therapist Assistant. Cheri decided to return to school after 20+ years later to complete the PTA program at Penn Valley. Cheri worked as a PTA at an Outpatient Clinic in Overland Park, KS for the first year of her career where she gained experience performing manual techniques for spine and extremity aliments, rehabbing patients to return to sports and/or work and helping patients recover post-surgically. She is passionate about helping patients, helping them to move and feel better. She has a patient, caring, compassionate personality and she is a hard worker with a positive attitude. She believes it is best to build relationships with patients through kindness, understanding and through sincere care. She has 24 years of experience as an educator and is experienced with working with diverse ages and abilities. She loves to help her patients progress to the next level through the rehabilitation process so they can thrive and meet their functional goals with improved ability and decreased pain. In her down time she enjoys hanging out with her family, swimming, traveling and gardening. She still enjoys dancing when she can.

I grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota and found my way into Missouri for college. I attended Missouri Valley College on a softball scholarship where I was a catcher and first baseman. At MVC I studied Exercise Science and graduated with my Bachelors in just three years with honors. I moved to Kansas to live with my fiancé and we now have two dogs that keep us plenty busy. After getting settled in Kansas, I went back to school at Concorde Career College and got my degree to become a physical therapist assistant. With being an athlete my whole life I have always had a passion for sports, which led me to my career choice. I have had my fair share of sports injuries and would love to get athletes back to playing the games they love. In my free time I am usually found on a softball field, watching football, playing with my dogs, or painting.
