State Law Loosens Physical Therapist Restrictions

Good news for Missouri residents! Starting August 28, 2023, Missouri law allows physical therapists to treat and evaluate patients without a doctor's referral. This law applies to physical therapists who have a doctorate in physical therapy or at least five years of experience in the field.
